1. How and when did the project of the digital divide?
In 2003 MLFM (www.mlfm.it) initiated a project for the social inclusion of young people in the community Muhura in Rwanda. It was a response to the Rwandan genocide of 1994, the country was rebuilding and it was important to create projects where Rwandans could work together and communicate with the rest of the world.
ICT Internet and computers become essential means to develop the knowledge, acquire skills, communicate, network and collaborate online. With this project, the remote community of Muhura opened to a wider world and the process has certainly had an impact on the inclusion of youngsters.
